I love the expressions there, especially Sally... her pose, with the hands clasped! Like they're enjoying a romantic interlude or something! Great job on the colouring and shading, there.

Black finger-less gloves huh? Interesting... Overall I like this slightly more "cartoon" style. There's still a whole lot of anatomy details present, but their forms got a lot simplier. Ah, I'd never underestimate how long it's gonna take you to color something after you've done the initial line-art. Especially if that's posted, you're even less likely to feel motivated to finish it in a timely manner. But, the important part is it did get done rather than shuffled aside, and it looks good

The color version looks great! I really love the way the color flows- it really looks like smooth paintbrush strokes. It especially looks great along Sonic's quills, Sally's hair and their legs. Gives it great energy when you look closely at it. I love that you leave the pencil lines too.

Thank you, thank you! Pleased to hear you like the colours, Sonic's quills and Sally's hair are some of my favourite parts, too! Pencil lines can look great with colour, good to hear it worked here. (:

Doesn't coloring always take longer than it should?
Nice job, as usual! It looks very clean, and I like the semi-lineless style. I just noticed that maybe for next time, Sonic's ear's could be shifted to the right (his left). You should be able to see some of the pink inside his right ear at that angle - at least, according to my little Sonic statue! But I really like how Sonic is lit from the left, and Sally is lit from the right. Was that intentional? ^_^
You don't mind my little critiques, do you? I only give them because your style seems open to evolution, and you're a good friend so you deserve more than a superficial appraisal. I just thought I'd ask - sometimes critiques can get annoying. XD

It took a while 'cause I lost interest halfway through. But yeah, I couldn't leave it unfinished.
Thanks man.
